Project
HEALTHYU is a fitness gym. Typical user is between 19-65 years old, most users are professionals. HEALTHYU’s goal is to provide simple and easy-to-use website/app that enable users to enroll in classes.
Problem
Most fitness apps are complex and challenging for users who are new to technology. There are many fitness apps available in the market, but most of them are complex and challenging for users who are new to technology. These users may feel overwhelmed by the number of features and options, and they may not be able to use the app effectively. As a result, they may lose motivation to use the app and achieve their fitness goals.

John struggles with finding a fitness coaching service that meets his needs as a middle-aged man who is new to technology. He finds many existing services to be overwhelming and difficult to navigate, which has led to frustration and a lack of progress towards his goals.
John's user journey include simplifying the app navigation, providing large images for motivation, and ensuring clear instructions and easy access to classes.Â
Information Architecture
The goal is to provide a clear and easy-to-use navigation structure for the fitness app's website, making it easy for users new to technology to access the features and benefits of the app. The layout of the sitemap is also designed to showcase the app's key features, such as Classes, Trainers, and Nutrition.

Prioritizing a the goal for user to find the class, we emphasized the classes of classes as top of the homepage
Right below it is the Trainers section to allow a sense of trust and transparency with their coach.

Users want to simplified and user-friendly. The design should be clean, with a clear hierarchy with color and typography.

simplify the user-interface so I scaled and rearranged the navigation header to align in the middle so I use less real estate space.

Takeaways
Our target users shared that the design was intuitive to navigate through, more engaging with the images, and demonstrated a clear visual hierarchy. I learned that even a small design change can have a huge impact on the user experience. The most important takeaway for me is to always focus on the real needs of the user when coming up with design ideas and solutions.Â
